I am very excited to offer my first giveaway!
I am a huge Kroger loyalist and can't imagine the idea of shopping any other grocery store. The variety of products in their own store brand astounds me, and quite honestly, is normally better than a national brand in terms of taste, price, and quality.
When I grill or need to add some subtle flavor to my meat, I grab Kroger Private Selection Grinders. My favorite is Sea Salt. Something about it just makes everything taste so perfect. I also add it to my unsalted popcorn for just the slightest hint of flavoring. Mmmm!
To celebrate the end of summer and beginning of fall cookouts, I am giving away a set of Kroger Private Selection Grinders, valued at $20. There are six in the set - Peppercorn Medley, Whole Black Peppercorns, Steakhouse Seasoning, Garlic and Pepper, Spicy Italian Herb Seasoning and Sea Salt. The perfect combination for all grilled foods, right?!
You can enter this contest two ways:
1 - Leave a comment below on the medleys. How would you use them? When would you use them? What kinds of food would you put them in?
2 - Tweet the following "Win a Private Selection Grinders Set from @BuddyBits. Contest ends 8/31/10! Enter at http://tinyurl.com/bbitsgrinder". Then leave a comment stating you tweeted the giveaway.
The contest ends 8/31/10 at 7pm EST. Winner will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to respond. Winner will be chosen at random.
Disclosure: I did not receive compensation or product for this giveaway from The Kroger Company. The opinions expressed in this blog are solely the bloggers.
I actually don't have any spices in my kitchen so this would be a great giveaway for me to win and get started. :)

I use a lot of spices everyday. Some like the steakhouse seasoning would be used on the grill and the italian herb and garlic seasoning would be used every day. What a great giveaway
ReplyDeleteI love spices but can you believe I've never tried sea salt...heard good things just haven't tried it. They all sound wonderful. I don't have a pepper grinder so haven't bought the peppercorns but as this comes with the grinder, I'd be set...how cool is that.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to post on the Twitter site but can you believe they are OVER CAPACITY and you have to try back later. Wow, do they need to get more bandwidth or whatever.
Anyway, I'm trying to post it.
Whew, it only took about 10 tries to finally get onto Twitter but I finally did it and have now posted the hashtag...
ReplyDeleteI love to put the peppercorn on my steaks. I'm gonna have to try the sea salt on popcorn.
ReplyDeleteI would use them in all my cooking in place of regular seasonings :) *Thanks* for the giveaway!

I am trying to cut down on my table salt consumption so I would use these grinders to enhance the flavors of meats and pastas without having to load it down with salt. I even hear that sea salt is better for you then regular salt, so I would definitely love to try that one too.

Oh I love using grinders! I use a sea salt grinder for almost everything (meat, veggies, pasta) and my peppercorn grinder for eggs and salads. I'd love to try the Spicy Italian one on pizza or pasta!

ReplyDeleteWe don't have a Krogers in Hawaii but I like these spice grinders (someone brought black pepper and seasalt back) -- do you know if any other chains carry them? Can they be mail ordered?
